DH story on Sand Ridge


Saturday’s event began with the arrival of more than 130 people to take on projects such as painting and landscaping. Work began at 9 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m.

In addition to the larger tasks of painting and landscaping, the roof, gym, and computer lab were being cleaned, and computers were fixed.

It’s never a good idea to overlook or discount the dedications of parents to the education of their children.  Charter school parents, by definition, are more involved than average, but still.
